A visit to the Museum must be an exciting, informative, stimulating and aesthetic experience. 
The Museum's heart is its exhibitions of interactive exhibits.
The exhibitions are accompanied by a spectrum of activities which broaden the museum's appeal, deepen the visitor's understanding, strengthen the experience of visit, and allow coverage of important subjects not presentable as exhibits. 
The Museum is a dynamic body which reviews and renews its content and programs continuously, responds to changing needs, and reacts to events.

The Museum is an institute of informal education.
The Bloomfield Science Museum, located on The National Museum Mall in Jerusalem, serves the city and the whole country.
Over the years, the Museum has gained a great deal of experience in the following areas: Planning, design and operation of interactive exhibits in science and technology that are closely connected to other areas of culture. Planning, design and operation of active exhibits of all shapes and sizes, including the accompanying apparatus. Developing and operating educational programs for schoolchildren of all ages, from kindergarten through high school, for one-time or repeat visits. Planning and conducting courses for kindergarten teachers, grade school and high school teachers, and student teachers.
The building is equipped with a well-stocked workshop for precision mechanics, electronics, and construction with wood, metal, and plastic.
For decades, financial support from U.S. YMCAs and the international community has played an invaluable role in the success of the Arab-Jewish Peace Kindergarten and the teen and young adult coexistence programs. Programs such as these are critical to sustaining the momentum of acceptance and understanding that already has impacted generations of visitors to the Jerusalem International YMCA.
Overlooking Jerusalem's Old City and a designated city landmark, the spectacular three-building YMCA complex offers amenities such as a sports club, hotel and dining facilities. Visitors can also enjoy a concert and conference venue, community center and even an occasional wedding.

Since 1933, the Jerusalem International YMCA has served as a place of hope and peace in the Holy Land. It has been a happy memory, a vibrant present and a hopeful future for Jerusalemites and visitors alike.

The museum is accessible to physically disabled visitors.
The museum is equipped with assistive technology for the hearing and vision impaired, in cooperation with the Fund for Development of Services for the Disabled of the National Insurance Institute and the Ministry of Tourism, and with the assistance of the Israel Government Tourism Corporation.
